While walking along the pond today, my three year old, looked up at me with the biggest grin and said, “this is the BEST day!” 🥰 The words social distancing, pandemic and self quarantine are too big for him to comprehend. What he does comprehend is quality time. Like the extra walks by the pond with mommy. The extra family dinners with home cooked meals. The extra craft and reading time. What we may call stuck at home, to him, means more playtime in the backyard, fort building, or extra family movie nights.
The world may feel like it’s falling apart, but these extra moments, give us a chance to change the way our children see the world for the better. What will you do with these extra moments?
